Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County received $25,000 to support further development of the Madison Bounty project. The local distribution system, which connects Madison County growers and producers with buyers, will develop a business and marketing plan and introduce web enhancements. 

Junior Achievement of CNY received $7,425 to support expansion of the Young Apprentice program, which places high school students in meaningful internships. Jobs ranging from nonprofit support to internships with international companies, provide local youth with workplace readiness skills and an appreciation for living and working in Central New York.

Syracuse City Parks and Recreation Department received $10,000 to support Syracuse FIT!, an adult fitness program conducted at various Syracuse city parks. Participants will learn about healthy lifestyle behaviors including physical activity and healthy eating habits.
