Friends of North Syracuse Early Education Program received $12,320 to upgrade their special education library. Projects include a computerized catalog to improve efficiency, a separate “quiet zone” for the therapeutic listening program and a parent library that will provide resources for families.

Jowonio School received $22,000 to hire an assistant director that will enable a smooth staffing transition by restructuring and strengthening administrative capabilities.

Onondaga Central School District received $20,500 to support structural changes to Wheeler School library and computer lab. The enhancements will give students and community members access to traditional and electronic media, allow adults to access high-speed internet and provide a family zone where parents can further their education and career needs.
