The American Red Cross Onondaga-Oswego Chapter received $38,784 to support their Community Ambassador program, which partners with South and Near West side nonprofit organizations to provide Red Cross training programs for residents. Classes include CPR/AED, First Aid, Babysitter Training and Disaster Preparedness. 

Enable received $7,752 to purchase protective gym floor mats for Explore Your World, an inclusive preschool program serving children with disabilities. The new flooring will enhance the safety and comfort of the gym, where activities that promote cognitive and motor skill development are conducted.

Child Care Solutions received $17,676 towards the Second Step program, which is designed to address aggression and disruptive behaviors among children by building their social and emotional confidence.

The Children’s Consortium received $34,375 to implement Ready, Set Parent!, a hospital-based program that focuses on parenting, literacy and health & wellness. The main objectives are to reduce the risk for child abuse and neglect and help parents raise children to become responsible and capable adults.
