We have been very fortunate over the years, thanks in part to the people before us who helped establish the educational and civic programs we were able to utilize. We feel it is our obligation to pay it forward, helping future generations in this community to realize their full potential.
We opened a donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation because its broad community focus encompassed the issues we feel passionate about - education, children, literacy and maintaining a viable city. The combination of our input in how the funds are expended and the Community Foundation’s strong financial management and community knowledge is powerful.
We are confident that our fund will grow and make a significant impact. The Community Foundation takes its responsibility to donors and the local population very seriously, making it Where the Smart Money Gives.
