The Community Foundation was recently awarded two grants from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust.
A $15,000 challenge grant has been pledged to the Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation. The Snow Trust will provide dollar-for-dollar matches of contributions on or before December 1, 2009. The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund was established in 1992 to provide financial resources to the nonprofit organizations of the Village of Pulaski and Town of Richland. The Fund has received annual support from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust since it was formed. Since the Fund’s inception, more than $160,000 in grants has been made to nonprofit groups serving the area. To learn more or to donate to the fund, visit www.cnycf.org/pulaski. A $25,000 grant was awarded to the Community Foundation’s Strategic Partnership Fund. The Fund was established this year to support projects that facilitate nonprofit collaboration. The Strategic Partnership Fund supports innovative partnership solutions that result in enhanced program delivery and more effective and efficient use of limited financial and human resources.
