The Mowers’ initial funding relationship with the Community Foundation came some years ago when a small number of Eric’s colleagues established a donor advised fund at the Community Foundation as a way of recognizing their work together. Since then the Mowers have added to that fund in furtherance of the Community Foundation’s profound effect on our community. They see the use of their funds as vital to some of the smaller local programs, especially those that do so much with so little.
Contributions to the Community Foundation are lasting gifts to Central New York in so many ways. Eric and Judy believe that a stable charitable endowment is Where the Smart Money Gives.
