The Joel David Namy Scholarship Fund was created in honor of the late Joel Namy, who passed away while serving as a Cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Against all odds, Joel overcame adversity to prove that with the right determination, any goal is achievable. He is a testament to the power of motivation and persistence in accomplishing whatever task may be at hand.

Recipients of the Joel David Namy Scholarship will exemplify these qualities of selflessness and resilience while demonstrating the ability to serve as a role model to the community and Cazenovia High School.
